Animal Crossing: City Folk

I know what you're thinking. Animal Crossing? Seriously? That looks like a preschool game for babies. Well it's not. It's actually really fun- and cute!! You enter a town with 10 villagers, move in, buy furniture, and you can fish, go bug and fossil hunting, make snowmen, there's just so much to do. The great thing about Animal Crossing is that it follows along with real life. At night time in reality, it's all dark in Animal Crossing and sometimes with the northern lights showing. And of course day in reality, day in Animal Crossing. But not just things like that. You can celebrate holidays on Animal Crossing, and follow along on special events going on in just Animal Crossing. For example, the fishing tourney. The Bug Off, and the Flea Market. Festivals and parties, it's all here. There are many wonderful things about Animal Crossing:

• Animal Crossing relates to reality events, such as Christmas and New years countdown.
• You can connect to friends and visit each others towns if you register each other on your friend rosters. Trade fruit, furniture, and sometimes villagers from your town will move to your friends, and the other way around, too.
  
• So many unique things! You can shoot down presents attached by balloons in the sky to get special items, meet ghosts, win fish and bug contests, plant flowers, sell fruit, the possibilities are not endless.
• You can make your own clothes designs at the Able sisters shop, and display the designs outside in your town to make roads, inside your house for carpets or wallpapers, wear them as an umbrella design, hat design, or simply a t-shirt design.
  
• Run errands for other villagers, such as fetching a certain fish, digging up a certain fossil, delivering a present or a message, or fetching medicine if they are ill. Those are just a few errands.
  
• Upgrade your house, little by little. This game really teaches you the basics of paying off your houses. But in this cute animated game, you start out with a puny little house. Then you get a bit bigger first floor. Then you get the maximum size first floor, then a second floor, and last and least, a full size basement. Yours to decorate and design. They even have Fung Shui in Animal Crossing!

               This is such an addicting game, I play it at least 3 times each week, which is a lot, considering my homework schedule and all that jazz. I love this game because it's just so unique in so many different ways. I think it's a wonderful game for kids ages 8-108. That's right, everyone. It's so cute and irresistible!
