You can also see what your warrior name is- or if you feel your not a warrior yet, just take the first half of your warrior name and put 'paw' at the end. Like, my warrior name is Spottedfire. As an apprentice, my name would be Spottedpaw. If you are a leading person, very loyal, brave, and strong, you might want to be the leader of your clan. If so, take the first half of your warrior name and add 'star' at the end. As a leader, my name would be Spottedstar. Take a quiz to find out what clan you are in! All you have to do is go to www.warriorcats.com, click on 'Participate', then click on 'Warrior Extras' then they're at the top- find out your name and clan! This may all sound very confusing to you. They're five clans. Starclan, Thunderclan, Riverclan, Shadowclan, and Windclan. You cannot be in Starclan unless your dead. So I guess you now know what clan all your great great great great great great etc. grandparents are in! We usually say there's 4 clans. I myself am in WindClan. Yeah! Go WindClan! You'll never drive us out again!! (Read book one to find out what the heck I'm blabberin about.)
Let me introduce you to the Warriors world. Cats call us humans twolegs. Hehee! And if you have a pet cat, in the warriors world, your cat would be called a 'kittypet'. Every full moon, by the spirits of there ancestors, all of the clans gather by 4 trees. They call that place the fourtrees. Appropriate name! Now you'd think during this time that they can, the clans would fight. Nope. Every moon they gather to talk about issues in the forest, and other things. They have a truce every moon. But not all of each clan can go. The clan leader must decide who will stay at camp and who will go to the gathering. Now StarClan, like I said, isn't like the other clans. StarClan is like the god clan of the forest cats. Any cat who dies rises up to become a star in StarClan at midnight- I think. Also, in the books, they mention something they call the warriors code. What is the warrior code, you may ask? 8 things. 8 rules, or in this case, laws. If you're caught disobeying the warrior code, you will get a big punishment. The 8 laws of warriors are:
1. Defend your clan, even with your life. You may have friendships with cats in other clans, but your loyalty must remain to your clan, as you might meet them in a battle.
2. Do not hunt or trespass on another clan's territory.
3. Elders and kits must be fed before warriors and apprentices. Unless they have permission, apprentices may not eat until they have hunted to feed the elders.
4. Prey is killed only to be eaten. Give thanks to StarClan for it's life.
5. A kit must be at least 6 moons old to become an apprentice.
6. Newly appointed warriors will keep a silent vigil for one night after receiving their warrior name.
7. A cat cannot be made deputy without having mentored at least one apprentice.
8. The deputy will become clan leader when the leader retires or dies.
Once you start reading the first book, you'll catch on. They are very addicting!!
